Brett's grandpa passed away last week. After his graveside services on Monday we decided to go to the Zoo. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed perfect weather. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Meerkats?
You'd think any child would be freaked out about oversized gorillas or ginormous rhinos. Nope, the only thing that got Jules was the meerkat. I guess it's because she's about the same size.

Hoppy Easter!
We had a great Easter spent in the company of great family. Here is a picture of Brett throwing Jules up in the air (it seemed to be the theme of the night's party). Isn't that a great picture? It was such a beautiful day and so good to get outside and enjoy some fresh air.
Here are some pictures of Jules in her new Easter Dress.

She is getting so big. Last week I went in to get her in the morning and she was standing up in her crib. I was so proud and excited for her and she was pretty proud herself. We didn't realize what was ahead though. She had learned to stand up but not how to get down. We would put her in bed and she would stand right back up and eventually her legs would get really tired and she would start to cry really hard and didn't know what to do from there. One time we let her cry for about 10 minutes hoping she would just fall. Finally Brett went in to get her and she was shaking and sweating; but of course, still standing. Since then she has learned to get down and has been doing really well with that. Now she is walking all around the furniture and just loves being so mobile.

MTC Reunion
We realized that it has been 3 years since we've been home from our missions so we decided it was time to get together. Us 4 sisters flew out to Brazil together and all went to the same missions so we've been through a lot together. It's been fun to see us all get married and to watch the families grow. Janae, on the right is due in 10 days (from the time the picture was taken on Monday) and we only hope the other 2 will follow behind us soon.
We have many pictures of me and my belly doing the same thing so we had to do it will Janae as well. I almost miss being pregnant seeing her...haha, NOT!
We had a lot of fun at dinner and laughed the whole time. I might add the Brad McOmber also joined us for dinner but had to leave afterwards because he had a date. We mocked him the whole time for being single but I guess he is trying.
5 Kids
So last week for 6 days we watched my sister-in-law's sisters 4 kids while they went and enjoyed the beautiful weather in L.A. They were actually pretty good kids and I grew to think that I could maybe handle having 5 kids (although we only plan on having 4). What I realized though is that I don't think I can handle having twins. Jules is now 9 1/2 months and their youngest, Kate, is 13 months old. Those two were the worst to watch because when one started crying it would set the other one off. They both fought for my attention so I would have to sit on the floor while they both mauled me to make them happy. The nice thing is that they were on the same schedule so they would go to bed at the same time and take naps at the same time giving me a little break. The thing that scares me the most is that we have a really high chance of having twins. Twins run pretty heavily in both of our families. My mom is a twin and her mom is a twin. Brett has twin uncles so if they skip a generation like they say they do, we are doomed. Anyway, here are some of the fun pictures we took while we were there:
Here Jules is kissing herself in the mirror. It's really cute. Last night I actually showed her a picture of Christ and she kissed him too. It's amazing what littlest of kids will do.

Here the babies are "playing" with each other. Here you can kind of catch Jules in the act of doing her army crawl.
