What do you do?

What do you do when people think that your baby girl looks like a boy?
You get her ears pierced of course...
She was so brave and didn't know what the heck was going on
Do the dots look straight?
Who looks more scared?
What did you just do to me mom?

She wasn't too excited about the second ear

All better

I think she likes them...what do you think?

My sister came into town and two of her daughters got their ears pierced so we thought that we would join in the fun too. I think that baby girls are so cute with earrings. Despite what some people may say, all girls want their ears pierced so why not do it while they are young and don't remember the pain.

The trick is to marry someone who cooks better than you...which in your case is impossible!!! My birthday is on the 23rd, so it hasn't happened yet but I'm sad you said something about it because I was all excited to leave you a happy birthday message for tomorrow! And don't worry, I don't have an amazing memory, I just have a birthday calendar! PS. I only wake up early like that maybe once a month. :)

She looks adorable! I love the earrings...no one should be calling her a boy now!(they really shouldn't have to being with! She looks nothing like a boy!) She's a cutie!

Funny, people say my little boy looks like a girl. I agree 100% with you on the ear piercing. My ears were pierced when I was 3 months...I think every little girl should have them. She looked adorable. By the way, I didn't think she looked like a boy either...

Um, I can't believe anyone would mistake her for a boy! She's much too cute to be a boy!! But, the earrings are very cute on her. I love how she is smiling so big...it's almost like she knows she looks good! :) I'm laughing at you in the one picture. You look like you are expecting to get poked too!

People think she's a boy all the time if she doesn't have a head bow/flower in. She can be wearing a pink shirt and they'll still ask what "his" name is. It's mostly guys that do it so I don't take too much offense. Brett likes them. Most of the Wilson's don't agree with getting them put in so young because they don't have a choice. I talked with Brett about it and he was ok with letting me do it.

Don't worry Jules, if I got my ears pierced again, I would cry too!!! I think you and your Mommy were very brave! I can't wait to see the new earrings.
